Congratulations to Denise Jackson who has been awarded an MBE in the New Years Honours List for Services to Scottish Gymnastics. Well done from all at gym.

 

The Club classes will restart on Monday 9th January.

 

The Parents Open Night on Thursday the 8th December had to be cancelled due to extreme weather. We are unable to hold the same format evening however, parents are welcome to come to their child's normal training session on Thursday 19th January 2012.

 

Victoria Lifts Star Award 2011

Victoria Beattie scooped the Modern Apprentice of the Year award at the recent Perthshire Chamber of Commerce 'Star Awards 2011'
The evening was a black tie event held recently at Crieff Hydro Hotel and was attended by over 250 of Perthshires elite business people including Sir Brian Souter of the Stagecoach Group.
Victorias achievements as Scotlands first ever MA in a gymnastics vocation swept her to victory with her maturity and high standards of work impressing the panel of business experts and setting her above the other finalists in what was a very competative category.

"The staff and Board at Auchterarder Gymnastics Trust and the team at the Sports Academy of Scotland are delighted for Victoria's achievement. Victoria has been a pleasure to work with and the recognition of her achievements by the Perthshire Chamber of Commerce and totally merited and deserved."
